In short

ManyCards widgets (formerly Flashcards Widget Pro) is developed by Emiliano Almada. We do not collect personal data. The app only sends our server an anonymous count (app opened, taps on More apps), without identifying anyone.

Data the app keeps

Your flashcards, folders, statistics, images and audio recordings are stored on your device and, if you enable it, in your personal iCloud account. Your content is never sent to servers operated by the developer (only the anonymous count described under Analytics).

No accounts, no sign-in

The app has no accounts and never asks you to sign in. Sync uses the iCloud account already on your device; the app does not ask Apple for your name or email.

Sharing folders

When you share a folder, the app creates a file with those cards and you choose how to send it (WhatsApp, LINE, AirDrop, email…). The file goes straight from your phone to your friend’s: it never passes through the developer’s servers. The app only counts, on your device, how many folders you sent and received, for the free-account limit.

iCloud sync

If you enable it (Premium), your flashcards, folders, statistics, images and audio are stored in the private database of your own iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit. The developer has no access to this data.

You can turn sync off in the app and delete the data at any time from Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage.

Permissions

The app asks for these permissions only when you use the related feature, and you can change them in Settings.

Microphone: to record audio for your cards and hear your pronunciation in voice mode. Recordings stay on your device and in your iCloud.

Speech Recognition: to check your pronunciation. Provided by Apple; audio may be processed on Apple’s servers under Apple’s Privacy Policy. The developer never receives the audio or transcripts.

Calendar: to show your events in the Calendar · Card and Weather · Calendar widgets. Events are read on the device and are never stored or sent anywhere.

Photos: images are added with the system photo picker, which only gives the app the pictures you select. No permission is needed.

Weather in widgets

The Clock + Cards and Weather · Calendar widgets show a 4-day forecast from Apple WeatherKit. We do not request location permission or use GPS: the city is derived from the device time zone and resolved to approximate coordinates with Apple MapKit. These requests go only to Apple’s servers and are covered by Apple’s privacy policy. No third-party weather service is used and we never receive this information.

News

The News tab downloads a public, read-only file hosted on GitHub and may load video thumbnails from YouTube. Nothing about you is sent with these requests beyond what is technically needed to download the content (such as your IP address).

Apple Watch

The watch app receives your cards directly from your iPhone and keeps a copy on the watch. It does not connect to the internet.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. The developer never receives or handles payment information. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings › your name › Subscriptions.

Analytics, tracking and third parties

We count how many people open the app and tap More apps, without identifying anyone, to improve it: the app sends our server (paginasclover.com) only the event (“opened” or the button tapped), the phone language, that it is an iPhone, and the app version. No cookies, no device identifiers, no third-party services; those numbers are never linked to you.

Beyond that, the app uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools and does not track you across other apps or websites. No data is sold or shared with third parties. The only outside services it contacts are Apple (iCloud, speech recognition, weather, maps and purchases), GitHub and YouTube (news content) and our own websites paginasclover.com (the anonymous count) and hablahablaespañol.com (the public list of our other apps, no data about you is sent).

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If the app starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date above.
